It is no more a breaking news that plans are underway for integrating video calls on whatsapp just as it is on Facebook messenger but the latest development now is that the previously released Beta version of the video feature have disappeared from the beta version indicating that it will come up again fully activated on all devices very soon. 

Since whatsapp included voice call features on the app, they have gone viral in integrating other features too like the ability to send pdf files and increase in group members to over 250.

Some people that tested the Beta version of whatsapp video call reported that whenever they want to make voice calls on whatsapp, an option will popup to either make video or voice call.
