Have you come across a write protection warning whenever you want to copy files to your sdcard. Follow this post and remove the write-protection restriction using your pc.
FIRST METHOD
Click Start > type “regedit” and open registry editor
Now follow this path…….
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SYSTEM/CurrentControlSet/Control/StorageDevicePoliciesÂ
Now you will see “Write Protection” option. Double click on that and set the value data to ‘0’.
After setting the value data to ‘0’ format your sdcard and you are good to go
SECOND METHOD
Using command prompt
Open Diskpart Utility For Removing Write Protected From Memory card
- Open Command Prompt and type ‘diskpart’ without quote and press Enter key.
- After opening diskpart type “list disk” without quote and again press Enter key.
- Now type “select disk 1” to select your sd card and press Enter key again.
- To remove write protection from sd card type “attributes disk clear readonly” and hit Enter.
- You should get a successful message that you disk has been clear successfully………
- Now Simply type “exit” and press enter key once more to exit the menu.
- Now, right click on your Sd card and click on Format option to format your card.
That’s all, now you can now easily remove write protection restriction from your sd card and can copy your data without any problem
